Macy Update

Macy came home yestderday evening. Her surgery went well and there no anesthia complications. She did also have a tear in her meniscusm that will prolong her healing time a little, but she made it!!! When I picked her up the doc brought her out to me and there was fresh blood on her side, he checked and sure enough Macy had taken out some of her staples. He took her back and stapled her back up and washed her off and then we came home. Needless to say, she has to wear a cone now. I slept in the living room with her and I will for about a week. Poor Macy has to be confined to a kennel when we are not here and she can't go outside without being leashed. That will last for the next 12 weeks! YIKES! It will be pretty difficult for me to take her to the bathroom with Isaiah tagging along during the week when Mike is not here, but we will figure it out. Macy's leg is swollen today so I have to ice pack her and then massage the leg and then ice pack and massage and so on. She is being a real trooper and letting me take care of her though. Mike took off with Isaiah for a bit to go to breakfast with Uncle Brien and then go to the hospital to visit our new niece. Camille was born on July 10th. I will post pics later, Mike took the camera to get some for me. I saw her yesterday but she was sleeping so I didn't disturb her with the flash.
Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers for Macy, we just ask for continued prayers for her to heal quickly!
