Bare Bottoms and Bum Knees

Isaiah LOVES bath time. All we have to do is start the bath water and it doesn't matter where in the house he is, he comes running to the bathroom! Tonight Pepper came running in as well. We all needed a laugh as we have some hardship in the family. Macy had hurt her back right leg very badly. It is like a human completely tearing the ACL. The surgery to fix it is terrible, the docs will have to sever her tibia from the femer and then twist the bones and pin them and staple her back up. Her recovery time is at leat 12 weeks with final healing in about 5 months or so. She recently had surgery and had a very reaction to the anesthesia. We are hoping and praying that she will come through this surgery with flying colors. We are asking for your prayers as well for her. Additionally, we would welcome any financial prayers. Her surgery alone will cost us about $3K,then will blood work and post surgery visits we will run up a bill of a total of around $4K. For any of you that know Macy know that she is a pretty active dog and LOVES to run in her backyard, right now and for about 12 weeks after surgery she can't. This is her favorite time of year to be outside, she loves the heat. We are just hoping to keep her spirits high through this. Macy will be in surgery on Weds July 2nd in Co Springs with some specialists that only do ortho stuff. We will keep you all posted on her condition.

Trains and Butterflies

Thursday Isaiah and I went to the park in the morning with Amy, Charlie and Alex. I forgot my camera in the car for the park. But after fun at the park we went to lunch at Baja where Isaiah chowed down on some chicken from my tacos and black beans. Then we walked up to B&N where they have a Thomas the Train set up. Charlie and Isaiah were having fun playing with the train. Then we walked around the shopping center for a bit where we spotted a beautiful butterfly. Enjoy these pics...

Fun at the Park

Today Isaiah and I met some mommys and kiddos from our adoption group at the park. Isaiah really hasn't been to the park before and he LOVED it! Today was his first time in a swing and he learned right away how to lean back and forth to keep it going. He amazes me day after day!

Happy Daddy's Day 2 :o)

Sunday we went to Grandma and Grandpa Delgado's house. Uncle Brien, Aunt Katie and cousin Kaleb were there too! Grandma got the boys a pool to play in before dinner. The boys play so cute! Here are some pics for you. I was so busy taking pics of the boys playing that I forgot to take pics of anyone else, OOPS!

Auntie, Uncle Jer Jer and the Zoo

On Tuesday Auntie and Uncle Jer Jer joined us for a morning at the zoo. It was a beautiful morning before a very HOT day! We had a great time looking at the animals. Isaiah was super spoiled as Auntie and Uncle carried him through most of the zoo. Then on the way out he got even more spoiled! Auntie and Uncle bought him 2 stuffies, a shirt and a polar bear water globe. The 3 of them love each other VERY much! Here are some cute pics from our day...

Walk for Alternatives 2008

This morning I went downtown to City of Cuernavaca Park for the 2008 Walk for Alternatives. Alternatives Pregnacy Center councels women who are pregnant and are unsure if they are happy about it. In 2007 there were 200 babies born through counceling from APC!!! Isaiah is one of them :o)
The park is beautiful with an awesome view of downtown as you go on the walk. Below is a pic I took with my cell of people hanging out right before we walked.
I want to thank all of you that supported me in this walk, I raised $345.00!!! You are all awesome and have helped a woman in a difficult time. Thanks to all and God Bless you!!!
