Spring Time at the Zoo

Today my Mom took the day off work so she could come to the zoo with Isaiah and me. What a GORGEOUS day that we had. The weather was perfect and everything was blooming. We even got to see some baby geese :o) There was even a sea lion show. We hope all of you enjoyed the beautitful God blessed us with today, especially since it may snow tomorrow.

1st Steps

YEAH!!! Isaiah has taken his first real steps without holding on! He took about 5 from the couch to me tonight. I got so excited that he got so excited and he was jumping up and down laughing in my lap. It was AWESOME! If only I had the camera at that moment. But here is a pic of him standing by himself. What a big boy he is becoming.

Puppy LOVE

Isaiah just loves his puppies. Here are some cute pics of him with his girls this morning playing around in the kitchen.

Friends and Food

Today Isaiah and I met my friend Chris at Ajuua for lunch. It is a YUMMY Mexican place right by our house. Isaiah wasn't digging on the food for some reason so when we got home he ate some broccoli, cheese and flatbread! My goofy boy :o) Then after lunch he helped Mommy unload the dishwasher. What a wonderful little boy we have!

Annual Check Up

Monday Isaiah his annual check up at the doc. He is 31" tall already and 23 lbs 9 oz. That puts him in the 90% for height and 50% for weight. Doc says he is long and lean :o) He is also cutting in ALL 4 of his molars, OUCH! He is having a little bit of a hard time with it, but he is a trooper. On top of cutting all these teeth he had to have shots too, poor little guy. All in all he is still my happy smiling boy! Here are some pics...

Happy 1st Birthday Isaiah!

Today my baby boy turned one year old! Incredible! He is so amazing. Last night Mike went out and turned his car seat around so he can now face forward :o) We took him for a short joy ride around the neighborhood and he loved it. Then this morning he decided he needed EVERY toy out of the toy bin. We took Isaiah to Red Robin for his birthday lunch. YUM, he loved it too. He ate about a 1/4 of my burger and fries :o) The 3 of us also split a blueberry vanilla shake which was awesome. We were busy between fun today running errands for his party tomorrow. When we were at Target they had a little yellow dog cake. We picked it up for Isaiah since today is his actual birthday. What fun he had with that! It was so fun to watch him tear into the cake and just love it. Here are some fun pics...

Two days and counting!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! My son will be a year old on Friday. Where on earth has the last year gone? Sometimes it seems like last week that we were doing adoption paperwork. But here we are now 2 days away from his first birthday. WOW what a truly wonderful and amazing year. Who knew you could love like this?!?!?!? Isaiah has changed me in ways I could never explain, Mike and I just love him so incredibly much!
This past Sunday Mike took Isaiah to Grandpa and Grandma Delgado's house. They had a blast trying new foods and playing. Grandma let Isaiah play in the kitchen with her pots and pans, he now knows how to open our cabinets and play at home. Luckily we have locks on any cabinets that he should not be in :o)

Standing by the cabinet, he is getting so good at standing and crusing!

Friends and Puppies

Friday evening our friends Chris and Dave came over for dinner. It was nice to see them since has been over a month since the last time we got together. Even though it had been a while, Isaiah remembered Aunt Chris and Uncle Dave! This morning was quite hectic, we had issues with Macy and Isaiah. After we were getting back to normal the rest of our day was nice. We got Isaiah's birthday cake ordered, saw Grandma for a bit and then had a nice dinner. We had aparagus and turkey wraps. Isaiah LOVES asparagus! I wish it was in season all year, he would eat it every day if he could. He gobbles it down as if it were candy. It is also my fav veggie :o) So since it is in season right now we have it quite often. We will be bummed when it goes out of season again. After dinner Isaiah was eating some of his cherry puffs for desert and learned how to feed Macy and Pepper. He was having a blast!
