He is Official!!

Well, it has been a long time since we updated anything onour site. A lot has happened.

We went to court on October 12th to make our adoption final. I can't really say our journey has ended, but it has really just begun!! We are very excited and happy and greatful that our adoption is final and that everything went as smoothly as it did. The firs picture is of the family at court with the judge.

Isaiah is now 7 monthes old and he is beginning to attempt crawling! He is also talking too, although he doesn't know what he is saying it sounds like he is saying Dada, Mama, and Baba. Other than that he is babbling. He is of course putting everything he can get his hands on into his mouth. We bought him a sippy cup this week that he really seems to enjoy playing with. He is getting very good with his hands, he can pick up and grab things with either hand, and he is also using both hands at the same time to pick up things. Isaiah has had 2 hair cuts now, and it looks like he will have a 3rd in the next week. He was 18lbs 12oz and 27 1/4 inches long at his 6 month checkup. Isaiah has his first two bottom teeth coming in and they are sharp (from what I hear from other people). Isaiah went as Pooh for his first Halloween, we went to Southlands and walked around a bit, but it was too crowded to be up there very long.

Tina and I are doing great too, but people just invite us over to see Isaiah :) we are really just overpaid chauffers. Hopefully we can stay on top of this and keep everyone updated.

Isaiah is a GROWING boy!!!

On Weds 5/30/07 Isaiah went to the doc for a height and weight check. He is now 23" and 11 lbs 9 oz!!! WOW he is growing up so fast. He has the biggest smiles now, which is absolutely AWESOME! He is just the sweetest little boy.

Isaiah is still going to work with Mommy. That is getting better, for a while he didn't really like the office and he still has his days. But over all he is adjusting well. He is even taking naps sometimes at work!

Today he got to hang out with out Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Brien, Aunt Katie and his cousin Kaleb. Kaleb and Isaiah are going to be great friends and run around and keep all on our toes soon!

Happy Mom's Day!!!

Happy Mom's Day to all you special mothers! Today for mom's day Isaiah gave me a great present! Other than just being the incredible blessing he is, he rolled over all by himself TWICE! He is growing up so fast! He seems to be changing every day!

My mom and sister got him a swing today, he LOVES it! It has both a swing and glide mode, he is really into the glide mode right now.

Isaiah is 4 weeks old today! We can't believe it. He is growing so fast. All of his newborn size clothes don't fit at all and some of his 0 to 3 months are even getting tight.

Today he go to go see one of Mom's clients with her for work. And of course everyone just thought he was wonderful!!! Mom's client even bought him a couple of really cute outfits. Good thing they are 6 to 9 months since he is growing so fast.

We are truly so blessed to have Isaiah in our family, he is just the BEST!!!

Isaiah is growing up big and strong! He is great at tummy time and can lift his head very well. On Friday the 27th he went to the doctor for his 2 week check. Dr Andy said he looked perfect. He is now 20 1/2 inches long and weighs 8 pounds 11.8 ounces! He is doing awesome! We just love having him as a part of our family. We are truly blessed!!!!!

Isaiah's first week

These are pictures from his first few days at home.

We are all doing well and still adjusting to the big changes. Isaiah is finding is own schedule. He is sleeping from 3 - 4 hours at a time and he is eating when he wakes up. Isaiah is a very content baby as long as he is not naked. He seems to be a good sleeper, he doesn't wake up for the dogs, the doorbell, or really anything else for that matter. He is eating great too. He is eating just over 2oz of formula each feeding, which the doctor said was great.

We went to the doctor on Friday and he weighed 7lbs 6z, we went back yesterday and he is gaining again. He weighed in at 7lbs 12oz. His nephew Kaleb is up to 15lbs 2oz, so he is doing good also.

Welcome Home

We are home. Isaiah is doing great, he slept through his first night, and also his ride home. He has been eating very well also. We are hoping that he will continue to sleep through his nights, but not counting on it.

The polls have closed!?!?!

Well, after yesterday we thought it would be a while. It wasn't. HE IS HERE!!!!! He was born today, April 11th at about 5:06am. He was 7lbs 14oz and 21 inches long.

We got a call at 4:35 this morning, and by the time we got to the hospital at 5:25, he was waiting for us.
