It's a boy!!

We met our Birth Mother on Saturday March 10th. She was great. We talked and got to know more about her family and also her situation. We found out that we are having a boy!! The original due date that we were given of late April was actually wrong, the doctor is thinking that she is actually due closer to April 12th. Her name is Erica, and we had to meet her at the hospital. She had a doctors appointment on Friday the 9th, and when she arrived she was having contractions, so they sent her to the hospital. The contractions stopped at about 4AM Saturday morning, and they kept her for observation. The next day (Saturday) the doctor checked her again and this time her mucus plug was leaking, and he informed her that the baby had turned, and dropped into the birthing position. At about 7PM Saturday night the contractions started again. We called Erica on Sunday and she was feeling good, the contractions had stopped again, and she was being discharged that afternoon. She is supposed to be on modified bed rest, but with three kids at home that probably won't happen. We are expecting her to go into labor within the next two weeks. Erica told us that he feels like he is ready to come out. The baby is healthy, he is almost 6lbs, so if he is born early, there should not be any complications.
